It was like she never left.

From the 1920s to the 1970s, Om Kolthoum has been an internationally famous Egyptian singer, songwriter, and film actress.

Even after she died on February 3rd 1975, she was and is still remembered in the memories of people who loved her and grew up listening to her or watching her.

This year, Zouk International festival held a tribute to the late Star through 3 amazingly talented voices: Yasmina, a finalist from "Arabs got talent", and Yasmine and Sara from the Egyption Cairo Opera.

They commemorated the Star by performing pieces if her most beautiful songs like "Alf Lela w Lela", "Enta Omri", "Sirt el Hobb"...  accompanied by the Lebanese National Oriental Orchestra  conducted by Maestro Selim Sahab.

A dazzling performance by all three of the talented young women brought back the audience to days when music really mattered and words had meaningful messages. Spectators enjoyed a "Kolthoumiyat" night singing along and interacting to the most beautiful songs in history of Arab music.
