A night filled with laughter, giggles, and cheers took over Beit Misks’ peaceful community on Saturday June 6th with the Beirut international comedy showcase. Different comedians from around the world took over the stage to entertain the people. The host of the show was Anthony Salame, he is the host of the most popular morning breakfast show in the country on Lebanon ‘s Virgin Radio. Saleme proved himself to be a master of comedy by using his urban style and slick sense of humor. The performers throughout the showcase included:
Tony Woods, a comedy veteran - USA:
Woods gained momentum and great popularity with the infamous Dej Comedy Jam, mostly in America, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
Nick Cody – Australia:
Cody is only 27 years old and he has performed in front of crowds at several sold-out shows like the Melbourne International Comedy Festival & Sydney Comedy Festival.
Anil Desai – United Kingdom:
Best known as an impressionist, Desai has become a household name at international festivals.
El Jaguar – Mexico:
El Jaguar blends between stand-up comedy and improvisation to create a unique show and a night you won’t forget.
