Bassoul Heneiné sal, official importer of Renault, Dacia, BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce vehicles to Lebanon, has established a long-lasting partnership with Jouzour Loubnan, an association dedicated to increasing woodlands in Lebanon and to promoting practices of sustainable forestation essential to arid regions.
In an active endeavour to maintain a sustainable relationship with the environment, Bassoul Henienéhas, for over a year, been planting a cedar tree for every BMW, MINI, Renault, Dacia, Rolls Royce, BMW Motorrad car or motorcycle sold. The initiative falls within the scope of the vehicle dealership's corporate social responsibility activities, which also include years of in-office recycling and diverse road safety campaigns.
In 2016, Bassoul Heniené sal and Jouzour Loubnan together planted 1872 cedar trees throughout Lebanon.
For Mia Bassoul, Associate Partner and Marketing Director of Bassoul Heneiné sal: "1872 cedar is just the beginning! We are very proud to be taking part in the ecological development of Lebanon with such a responsible, engaged and active partner like Jouzour Loubnan."
"It is through our partners -individuals and companies like Bassoul Heniné who have entrusted us to restore the woodlands of Lebanon- that our small, dynamic teamhas been able to continue planting cedars and growing hope in the heart of every Lebanese since 2008," says Raoul Nehme, President of Jouzour Loubnan."Our collaborations with municipalities and responsible companies have helped us plant, nourish and protect 250,000 indigenous species throughout Lebanon. We also continue to raise general public awareness about the vitality of sustainable forestation within our communities."
