At an opening ceremony held under the auspices of Minister of Tourism Avedis Guidanian and in the presence of deputies Serge Torsarkissian and Nadim Gemayel, and a host of socialites, prominent press and media figures, Restos St. Nicolas opened its doors in Achrafieh, St. Nicolas Street - Charles Malek Avenue.

"Lebanon is able to absorb all crises. Today we are meeting in the heart of Achrafieh to inaugurate a new tourist landmark by a group of adventurers who added a new spotlight of hope in Beirut," said Minister Avedis Guidanian.

A food cluster concept developed by Sabbagha Development and Venture Group, Restos St. Nicolas is a new dining destination in Beirut which boasts an architecture that combines heritage with modern architecture, preserving the unique cachet of this authentic area of Beirut.

The project includes five renowned names in the food and beverage scene in Lebanon and welcomes you for family meals and friendly gatherings: Ahwak, Roadster Diner, Bar Tartine, Don and Café Gourmand.

The buildings hosting the five restaurants outline the property, embracing an inner courtyard that they safely guard from the crowded and noisy streets. The architects of the project Fadlallah Dagher and Fouad Hanna were keen on ensuring harmony between the existing old Lebanese house that was preserved and restored, and the new buildings, conceived to be in tune with the architectural spirit of the old house.

Restos St. Nicolas is the fourth project by Venture Group after Uruguay Street in Down-Town Beirut, The Village Dbayeh and The Backyard Hazmieh; it is managed by Sabbagha Development, a leading real estate and land-development company in Lebanon, which has for more than 80 years, participated in several development and reconstruction projects in the country.

The project costs $7millions, covers an area of 1,700 square meters and provides more than 300 jobs.
