Tony Ward immersed himself in autumn nature while designing his Ready-to-Wear Fall Winter 2018/19 collection. Fascinated by the structure of leaves, he observed the raw movement of lines generated by their skeleton and got inspired by their delicate vascular patterns.
The collection, at the image of the season, is full of contrasts. What more romantic yet sad than the sound of the leaves whirling with the wind? What more serene yet melancholic than falling autumn leaves?
The enchantingly mysterious mood of fall is captured in this collection through the use of lacy threads replicating the skeleton of leaves, and subtle leave-shaped embroideries on silk, lace, organza and tulle.
The color palette combining rich nuances of gold, taupe, orange, deep red, teal blue and silver grey paints a vivid image and enhances the autumn feel of the collection.
For his Fall Winter 2018/19 collection, Tony Ward gives justice to this season of sensations by conveying its vibrant emotions and warm reflections through his designs and transforming his collection into resplendent autumn foliage.
