Sacré Profane at BIF

Soprano Samar Salamé returned to Byblos Festival on  Wednesday 12 and will perform Thursday 13 August, 2015
to present Sacré Profane which is a new production yet in a unique setting. Accompanied by Alessandro Karbon and Fabrice Di Falco, she performed two of Pergolesi's timeless masterpieces: the sacred "Stabat Mater" within the medieval walls of Saint John Marcus Cathedral in the old city, and the profane "La Serva Padrona" in the adjacent gardens.

Directed by Diana Iliescu and choreographed by Jean Sakr, this colourful play will  featured amazingly talented  musicians, dancers and acrobats all led by Master of Ceremony Talal el Jurdi.
