      What is Twist the Rainbow Run?
      Twist the Rainbow Color run is the most fun and happy event you’ll ever experience in a 3K! 
      It is completely different compared to all the obstacle races you've done in the past! The TWIST The Rainbow 3k is a fun race where everybody can go and have a good time while walking or running. 
      At the starting line you’re so clean, during the course they throw colors at you while at each color station you’ll be plastered with a new color of powder. Some 3 km later, you’ll cross the finish line and go into a final blast of color festival you’ll be showered with a rainbow of color that your own mother may not recognize you. TWIST THE RAINBOW is the first and happiest color run and color festival in Aley!


      Kids aged 8 and older must register as adults (at all points of sales) , and all minor participants must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
      Lebanese University masters students with the collaboration of Aley Municipality will be waiting for you to enjoy the happiest event of the spring!

      Is there an age limit?

      We welcome all ages, even those in a stroller on one condition that you don’t mind if they will be messed UP! It’s up to you.

      Do I have to be a runner?

      No problem. There are thousands of competitive runs out there, but our main goal is washing you in color. Get through our fun run by sprinting, walking, skipping, or hitching a piggyback ride. We won’t judge.

      Is color safe?

      The safety of our runners has been our top priority. Our color is non-toxic and is corn starch-based with food-grade dyes. As with any substance, you won’t want it in your eyes! All Twist The Rainbow volunteers receive strict instructions to throw color below the head, but as an extra precaution, many runners opt to wear sunglasses or goggles, and sometimes a bandana over the mouth and nose while passing through color stations.

      Can I participate if I have medical issues or am pregnant?

      ASK your physician, WE do NOT hold responsible! Our color is non-toxic and corn starch-based. We want you to be as safe as possible, so if you are allergic to corn or food dye, participation is strictly off limits. If you are pregnant or have other health concerns, consult with your doctor.

      I run for the first time this race, what do I need to know?

      No worries, it is just for fun and happiness; it isn’t timed, and there are no judgments for how long it takes you to finish the course. Our recommendations: arrive 30- 45 mins early, put on a comfy shoes, and most importantly, wear whatever you’d like to see splashed in color! ( just keep in mind that whatever you’re wearing will likely remain dyed even after a wash!)
