LMAB Reem Kachmar Fashion Show

Fashion designer Reem Kachmar took the audience of her 2017 Spring-Summer collection into a journey of color and light with designs inspired by the works of iconic architect Antoni Gaudì.

During her recent visit to Barcelona, Reem fell under the spell of Gaudì'smesmerizing works, but it was mostly colors and mosaics that inspired hernewest collection. "It's mostly the light" said Kachmar, "that's what struck memost in Gaudi's work, how he used color and light, it's so seductive."

All that is beautifully revealed in Reem Kachmar's collection for this season.It was divided into three main sections each of which was inspired by one ofGaudi's distinctive color palettes:

• Warm colors varying between beige, orange-red, pink, and black; Cool colors varying between blue, cyan, indigo, and lavender; Black splashed with bright colors

Designs varied between evening dresses, short and long, as well as tops andskirts, and most were embroidered with Swarovski, beads, pearls and gems.

The fabric used was mostly transparent with a predominance of lacework and hand embroidered tulle in addition to fabrics exclusive to Reem Kachmar Couture mirroring Gaudi's famous mosaics. It all came to life in elegant and sensual designs which have become emblematic of the Reem Kachmar brand.The collection finale was dedicated to wedding dresses with five amazingdesigns that enchanted the audience and left them looking forward to her next collection.
