Ayyoubé

Ayyoubé is the biography of a Palestinian woman in a Lebanese refugee camp. Despite the horrors of living in one of those camps; Jaber, Ayyoubé's abusive husband, turns her life into a living hell. Amidst all the unfair treatment, Ayyoubé decides to stay in the house for the sake of her children; defying the logical decision of getting a divorce.

The story of Ayyoubé is one that shows success and seeing the light, even after a lifetime of darkness.

􏰂 كلمة الحمدلله لطالما واست أ يوبة اللاجئة الفلسطينية التي عانت اللجوء في ظل مجتمع يهمش المرأة و يهدر حقوقها، و زواج ّتقليدي حرمها من  أبسط ُسبل الحرية.

فبين مأساة اللجوء و مأساتها الفردية التي تمثل إختصارًا للقضية الفلسطينية من جهة، و لقضية المرأة العربية من جهة أخرى، وجدت أ ّيوبة في الحياة مخرجًا لنفسها من ظلم الحياة. المسرحية مقتبسة عن قصص حقيقة لثلاث سيدات تفلسطينيات من مخيمي الرشيد ّية و الب ّداوي، جمعت قصصهن في ”أ ّيو بة“ واحدة.
