Collective Photography Exhibition
In August 2012, seventeen passionate street photographers from the BSP community traveled to Nepal. Over a span of twelve days, they explored the bustling streets of Kathmandu and the lakeside village of Pokhara with their cameras.
They became friends with the locals, got to know the rich culture on a more intimate level and came home with stories they will never forget. Through eachs' distinct lens, they captured life as it was happening on the streets: the commonplace and the extraordinary, the withered and the beautiful, the everyday and its ironies. Each photograph taken during the trip reveals a side of Nepal that tells its own story.
We invite you to join us at UNESCO Palace on June 11 and 12 for our unique exhibition with an opening ceremony on the 11th to enrich the cultural exploration of Nepal.
In case you're wondering, the word "Kabita" in Nepali means "Poetry" ;-)

The photographs exhibited will be available for purchase to support the photographers so come prepared if something catches your eye ;-)
