USEK Sustainable interventions exhibition

"Sustainable intervention" exhibition is the result of the autumn semester work during the course "Architecture et developpement durable- HQE" in which the students, with a professional assistance from their professor and the ODDD ngo, worked to:

• Solve an existing problematic in a sustainable and scientific approach.
  Create a Sustainable self sufficient prototype: by mean generating the necessary electricity to illuminate the occupied space and to generate the required loads for people usage.
  Develop a high standard design that insure a thermal and physical comfort of the occupants
• Offer the essential spaces needed with a minimum cost and a maximum efficiency.
• Be made of recycled material and new materials based on low grey energy, low CO2 emissions and long life cycle
• Raise awareness on sustainable development
• Change unsustainable production and consumption patterns
• Protect and manage natural resources
• Achieve balance between economics, environment and society

The projects will occupy USEK main Campus, Kaslik for one week... from March 10th til March 17th...

March 10th will be the opening at 11:00 AM, with the presence of the media, invitees and students...

This event is open for everyone and especially for the people who are interested in the sustainable development... Its a free entrance exhibition..

a lot of sustainable entertainment activities prepared by the students will shape the March 10th exhibition day...
