After opening the first Liza Restaurant in Rue de la Banquein Paris in 2005, Liza and Ziad Asseily return home in 2013to open Liza Beirut on the first floor of the Metropolitanclub in the heart of Ashrafieh, followed by Liza GaleriesLafayette in Paris in 2014.
In June 2015 Liza teams up with Beirut Design Week tocreate a limited collection of objects inspired by MariaOusseimi's design of the restaurant.Liza, who is a great believer in the relevance of design,especially as it relates to food, invited the artisans andthe designers who collaborated in the creation of Liza'sstrong visual identity to create an object to celebrateBeirut Design Week.
Liza will be exceptionally open from noon to midnightduring Beirut Design Week, June 2nd to June 7th ,with a special outdoor setup featuring drinks & musicin the patio, every day, starting at 5pm.
