Cake in the sense of layers of sushi ingredients! It’s such a delicious and refined dish to serve when you have people over!
I really recommend it my dear readers, don’t hesitate a second!
So let’s start!
You need sushi rice, rice vinegar, 2 teaspoons sugar, ½ teaspoon salt, 200g salmon, Nori, shredded crab, 1 tablespoon mayonnaise light, sushi ginger, 3 cucumbers, 2 avocados.
First you need 1.5 cup of sushi rice. Wash and soak it for 20 minutes and then cook for 15 minutes in 2 cups of cold water, lid closed, slow fire.
Then, remove the rice from the fire and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Remove, put in a big plate, and drizzle on it a mix of ½ cup of rice vinegar previously mixed with 2tsp sugar and ½ tsp salt.
Fan it for 5-10 minutes to let it cool well and use the fork to separate the grains from each other.
Rice is done? The rest is easy!
- Prepare a mix of shredded crab with 1 tbsp of mayo light and sushi ginger. Leave a bit of ginger and the liquid in it to add at the end.
- Crush the avocados and make a paste
Now compose your delicious sushi cake!
Your first layer is salmon, then nori leaves then rice then a layer of the prepared crab, then put a layer of thin sliced cucumber, then nori, a layer of rice again, a layer of crushed avocados, then again a layer of shredded crab with mayo and ginger. Let the pink sushi leaves appear at the front so they look like flowers, they are very pretty when you serve them! Some of you may like to add more layers of salmon, it is as you wish, I enjoy it this way!
At the end I like to add the ginger left and I like to drop the liquid of the sushi ginger on it evenly as it tastes amazing!
Now put it in the fridge for 2-3 hours and enjoy!
You will LOVE guaranteed! You can do it in heart shaped for a special occasion with your love!
And if you are on a diet, just have a medium size piece of it with a light green salad on the side, you will feel full as it is a very rich meal!
