Beirut International Exhibition and Leisure Center (BIEL) is relocating. This extravagant destination of events is now moving to Tahwita! This new location will allow BIEL to host and organize bigger events maintaining their high quality standards.
BIEL has moved after the expiration of their contract with solidere. "We decided to move to this area because we could not find land plots as big and accessible." Stated Rami Joueidi, CEO of BIEL Group. The new area will be larger including more green spaces, playgrounds, and game zones. The management is working towards making the new BIEL a family oriented space.
The management is very excited about the new space! They're considering that the new BIEL will have more attractive features offering the place more opportunities in terms of the size, the capacity, but most importantly in terms of the know how which is the real catalyst behind the BIEL experience.

·The new BIEL site is being constructed on a 43,000 square meter (m2) plot of land. The land was rented for 20 years from the Tahwita Al Iqariya Company, chaired by Joseph (Joey) Tabet.
·BIEL will include a 14,000 m2 events venue, food and beverage outlets, and 15,000 m2 of green spaces. It will also include a playground, a gaming zone, and an office building. “We want BIEL to become a family-oriented destination,” said Joueidi.
The project will be unveiled in phases over the coming two years. The first phase, consisting of the events venue and gaming zone, will be ready in the next few months.
