Sony Pictures Releasing International, Empire, Deek Duke, and Cinemacity Dora have organized the avant premiere of "The Equalizer" Movie on September 23rd, 2014. It was simply fun to attend, with house music playing in the background and Deek Duke yummy appetizers and desserts distributed to all the attendees. Nestle iced tea was also offered as refreshments. A photo booth was placed to take memorable photos with funny Deek Duke accessories; eyeglasses, and other decorative tools where it says "DEEK DUKE CHICKEN PROTECTS ME," "DEEK DUKE CHICKEN FUELS MY MUSCLES"...
We were surprised to have the photos ready for us when the movie ended as a take away souvenir.
30 goody bags were also randomly distributed under the seats, so some went home with mugs and other fun gadgets from Deek Duke.
"Deek Duke" picked an exquisite movie. Denzel Washington stars in "The Equalizer;" a film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk, based on an old television series of same name. After having believed that he had put his Special Forces past behind with the loss of his wife, Denzel, who plays McCall, meets a young girl who is forced to work as a prostitute under the control of violent Russian gangsters. He becomes dedicated to serve vengeance for her and for anyone who feels helpless.
Russell Crowe was meant to play this role, but in December 2011, it was reported that Denzel is set to star in it and it was announced that Sony Pictures are planning for a sequel.
There are plenty of nice movies to be released, so don't worry about upcoming rainy Sunday nights...
