Participating in Paris Fashion Week, the Spring Summer 2016 Couture show of fashion designer Georges Chakra took place on the 26th of January 2016 at the Hotel 51 Iéna in Paris.
A sense of freedom, euphoria, and grace is expressed across a collection that illustrates a journey to another world, an enchanted escape, where femininity is liberated and carefree.
In movement; luxury resides in the refined fabrics, a cascade of tulle, insatiable lace, ethereal guipure and organza, sensual layered crepe, a flow of transparencies and a delicacy of embroidery, gives wings to the collection.
In radiance; halos of softness on a background of pastels of peach, melon, sky blue, mint, yellow, parme, white, coral, red and black. Emphasis is shown on the brilliance of the floral paillettes that illuminate and captivate the attention, illustrating dreams of morning summer dew, beds of fallen leaves, and rays of radiant ribbons.
In lightness; breath of light ruching, pleats, ruffles and capes flow through this season's collection. The silhouettes soar carried by the grace of the ruffled skirt, short dresses, and the delicate mermaid gowns all structured with translucent bustiers.
Fresh, light and fluid is captivated from beginning to end of the 48 looks of the collection where as always the back is highlighted, exuding charm and charisma.
A show encrusted with flowers is applauded by the spectators ending in a white bridal gown that radiates refinement, modernity and joie de vivre.
