With three wildly successful editions under its belt, the Jounieh International Festival comes back to blow our minds in 2014, announcing concerts and events that will make this summer an unforgettable season.

The organizers of the Jounieh International Festival held a press conference on April 15^th, 2014, at the Automobile et Touring Club du Liban (ATCL), to present the most promising program of the 2014 festival. Concerts, shows, games, and carnivals peppered throughout June and July for the enjoyment of all ages.

The 2014 Jounieh International Festival, organized by the non-governmental organization PHELLIPOLIS, founded by Neemat Frem, was introduced by festival director Fady Fayad. The festivities will kick off on Friday,

June 27^th, with the well-known breathtaking opening firework show in the Jounieh bay. This date will also mark the start of the photography contest, which thrilled both amateurs and professional photographers last year, and is sure to draw a larger number of talented competitors this summer.

The 2014 Jounieh International Festival challenged itself to have something for every musical taste, and music aficionados will no doubt enjoy this edition immensely:

Elias Rahbani's name is well-known throughout our country, across our generations; the maestro himself will hold a concert on Wednesday, July 2^nd, 2014, at the Fouad Chehab Stadium, and will lead his orchestra -and the crowd - into his biggest hits, which have become a part of our Lebanese heritage.

Francophone music lovers will sing and dance along to Zaz's hits, such as "On Ira", and "Je Veux", at the Fouad Chehab Stadium, and let the singer's phenomenal voice, deep lyrics, and upbeat music enchant her fans and make new ones, on Thursday July 3^rd, 2014.

The Grammy and AMA-winner American alternative rock band Imagine Dragons will rock the Fouad Chehab Stadium on Monday, July 7^th, 2014, as part of their international tour, in a concert that already looks like the biggest musical event in Lebanon this summer.

On the heels of the second season's highly successful tour last year, the French version of" The Voice": "La Plus Belle Voix", will be coming back to Lebanon for their third season tour, choosing the Jounieh International Festival and the Fouad Chehab Stadium as the scene for their finalist to perform fan-favorite tracks, with the participation of the Lebanese artist Aline Lahoud on Thursday, July 10^th, 2014.

In 2013, the Jounieh International Festival organized a nature-friendly green day, and this friendship extends into 2014, with Saturday July 5^th and Sunday July 6^th dedicated to "green" activities: the roads will be car-free and filled with fun stops and activities for the entire family.

The Jounieh International Festival is also pleased to announce various activities, carnivals, parades, shows, and events, free of charge, that will revolve around the main features of beautiful Jounieh -the Jounieh bay, the Harissa mountain, and downtown Jounieh. They will offer the citizens of Jounieh the opportunity to rediscover their city, and offer visitors the opportunity to get to know Jounieh, on Friday July 4^th, 2014.
