Following the huge success of the « ONE LEBANON, United for Tomorrow » concert with more than 7000 persons, 20 celebrities and 180 young singers who gathered in solidarity from all the Lebanese regions & confessions on Saturday, February 1 at the Forum de Beyrouth, the committee of ONE LEBANON was keen on inviting all those who made the dream come true: celebrities, young talents, school choirs, volunteers, official partners, sponsors, media partners, technicians and organizers.
Around 100 persons were greeted by the Executive Committee made up of Tania Kassis (President), Lina Moukheiber, Fouad Zmokhol, Philippe de Bustros, Mona Shour, Samir Kassis and Thierry Khoury, in the absence of Ziad Mikati due to travel, at the « Eau de Vie » lounge of the Phoenicia Hotel, proud supporter of ONE LEBANON.
The guests expressed their happiness to be reunited around Tania Kassis who presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the British Ambassador Tom Fletcher, Honorary Member, for “his heartfelt and earnest love of Lebanon”, knowing that he was the first person who encouraged her to dare persue this challenging project that would not have been possible without the support of Romen Mathieu (Chairman of Khoury Home) and Michel Abchee (Chairman of BHV).
Certificates were awarded to Elie Zard, owner of the Forum de Beyrouth, for his generous support, as well as to the young talents and the 3 choirs that contributed to the success of the concert: the Imam Sadr Foundation Choir from Tyre represented by Louai Charafeddine, the Rawdat el Fayhaa Choir from Tripoli represented by Mahmoud Massaad and the El Marj School Choir from Baaklin represented by Rabiaa Daou.
Tania Kassis also seized the opportunity to grant each of the 22 ONE LEBANON volunteers a Certificate for their “considerable devotion and dedicated work”.
The main focus of the gathering was the presence of many of the celebrities who participated in the concert, among them Michel Fadel, Marwan Khoury, Elsy Ferneini, Nemr Abou Nassar, Maguy Bou Ghosn, Mike Massy, Michel Abou Sleiman, Zeina Daccache and Tante Yvonne. Tania Kassis thanked them wholeheartedly for their commitment to the cause, with a special salute to the many others who couldn’t share the evening due to work engagement.
