Digital Transformation Middle East 2017

The Office of Information Technology at AUB is hosting the Digital Transformation Middle East 2017 on September 8 & 9 at Bathish Auditorium, West Hall. A conference highly focused on EduTech and the digital economy in the Middle East: http://dtme2017.com/

Digital Transformation Middle East 2017 is a joint initiative by Knowledge Practices International (KPI) and the American University of Beirut (AUB).
"The region's first conference that aims to explore the disruptive forces that are shaking all industries from the financial sector to media and entertainment, retail to hospitality, and education to government."

A press conference will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Press Club. 

A hackathon for students from different universities will start on Thursday, September 7 until Saturday night at AUB.
