YANINA Spring Summer 2025 Show
HAPPY MEMORIES
For the new Spring-Summer 2025 season, YANINA Couture presents a collection inspired by childhood memories and the most essential values in life: home, love, and beauty. Once again, opening the door to the fairytale world of the House, founder and creative director Yulia Yanina invites us to the place where memories come to life. “Our life is made up of bright, memorable moments that we cherish above all. Memories, like a warm blanket, embrace us, creating an atmosphere of coziness and tranquility,” Yulia reflects, sharing the creative inspiration behind this season’s unique couture designs.
There is no future without the past.
The main inspiration for the collection lies in Yulia's personal memories: the scents of a flourishing garden at its peak, the aroma of fragrant honey and buzzing bees, the sweetness of bright berries tastier than any candy, and the abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables. These were the highlights of soulful family gatherings. Through the eyes of a little girl, these moments embodied pure happiness and serenity, becoming a symphony of nostalgia treasured in the memory bank of adulthood. This new collection serves as a personal retrospective of Yulia Yanina’s world of memories, filled with magic and warmth from the past—simple yet priceless.
In one of the most famous scenes from Marcel Proust’s novel Swann’s Way (the first volume of In Search of Lost Time), the protagonist dips a madeleine cookie into tea, triggering a vivid return to his childhood in Combray. Yulia Yanina believes that each of us has our own “madeleine” capable of evoking memories of the brightest, happiest moments of life—of joy, beautiful summer days, and the preciousness of time. Childhood memories and the past inspire us, helping us discover the source of our personal strength. That is why it is vital to keep the child within us alive to move forward.
Elegance and identity
The heroine of the new season is a dreamer—intelligent, self-assured, and exuding incredible elegance. She proudly dons new couture creations that highlight her individuality. As always, she is beautiful—at any time, in any place, and at any age.
The collection showcases the timeless shapes and silhouettes that have become hallmarks of the YANINA Couture Fashion House. These designs highlight the natural beauty of the wearer. Dresses and suits are handcrafted from flowing silk, chiffon, velvet, and tussah silk, enriched by unique, hand-painted prints of fruits and vegetables, as if freshly picked from the garden. The season’s looks are completed with headwear inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood and its iconic stars, such as Ava Gardner.
Décor and signature techniques: the DNA of the brand
The collection pays special attention to intricate embellishments, which have been the Fashion House’s signature since its foundation. Almost all fabrics, prints, and textures are handcrafted specifically for this collection, showcasing innovative techniques developed by the House’s artisans. The vibrant array of berries, fruits, and vegetables is brought to life through exclusive hand-embroideries, appliqués, and decorations on dresses and suits. These elements become elegant bas-reliefs, adding bold accents to each piece. Many designs and hand-embroidery techniques are absolute exclusives, making their debut in this collection.
Alongside the lush motifs of a blossoming garden, the collection also features intricate details such as voluminous leaves and clusters of berries decorating net dresses—a signature of YANINA Couture. Honeycomb patterns with three-dimensional bees appear as a symbol of purity and renewal, inspired by the childhood memories of Yulia Yanina’s daughters. For them, the appearance of bees during summer was a delightful performance filled with emotion.
The final dress of the Spring-Summer 2025 collection is like a memory, open to interpretation. For some, it may evoke the image of a magical dream from the land of childhood; for others, it may resemble a gentle cloud shielding them from life’s storms and carrying them into a fairytale. Others might see it as shimmering soap bubbles reflecting a rainbow of colors.
Through the artistry of couture, YANINA Couture invites everyone to immerse themselves in the world of their childhood memories. This new collection is about finding strength in the past and cherishing every moment of life because, as Yulia Yanina says, “The most precious things in life are not material possessions, but feelings, moments and people.” With every YANINA Couture piece, you are not just wearing clothing—you are carrying stories inspired by dreams and memories that live on in each of us.
