The trend for fashion to cross over to interiors continues. This time it is haute couture genius Elie Saab, a Love Happens favorite!! The Lebanese designer announced recently that the brand will be launching an Elie Saab furniture collection in 2020.

Elie Saab furniture is set to debut in April at Salone del Mobile in Milan. The collection will come to light through a collaboration with Swiss home design company Corporate Brand Maison. The license agreement is “long-term” with new collections coming each year. It also includes a series of hospitality projects.
“Over the years, Elie Saab has evolved into a lifestyle brand, through the development of diversified product categories that deliver a unique experience of the brand’s universe”, Saab said in a statement.
“Creating a home collection is a natural next step for our lifestyle brand, and we have chosen Corporate Brand Maison as a partner who is perfectly geared toward supporting our ambitions in developing and creating timeless signature furniture collections and interior design projects that embody the DNA of our brand and touch every aspect of ‘living’.”
A Foretaste of Elie Saab Furniture
While this is Saab’s first official collection, it is not the brand’s first foray into interior design. In the spring of 2019, Elie Saab partnered with Dubai real estate development company Emaar to design a 20-tower residential community in Dubai Harbour called Emaar Beachfront. Saab worked with architect Carlo Colombo to create a “total look” reminiscent of the brand’s ethereal and romantic world through living, dining, bedroom and lighting pieces.

Inside the First Collection
Amongst the chic furniture pieces that will debut as part of the first Elie Saab furniture collection, there will be a statement couch with metallic gold storage spaces beneath its armrests, a bed, tables, chairs, and lighting. The renderings show the decor in light warm tones with luxurious metallic details in keeping with the brand’s aesthetic.
