The Kuwaiti International Designer, Adiba Al Mahboub, will participate in the 34th Oriental Fashion Show, which will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 4:30 PM at Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. The presentation will be preceded by a press conference for the participants, which will take place at 10:45 am.
Oriental Fashion Show is more than just a fashion show. Since its inception in 2004 and over the years, this event has become a true artistic platform and cultural dialogue between East and West. Oriental Fashion Show's mission is to promote couture to discover oriental masterpieces through a selection of about twenty fashion houses, whose collections highlight fashion from elsewhere, mixed with tradition and modernity. Carrousel du Louvre, a place of art and culture, will be an expression of rich creativity that reveals the unlimited potential of designers from Central Asia, the Caucasus, the East and the Maghreb. The new edition will create a wonderful vitality of the silk fabric. This trip will be an opportunity to discover the wealth of Central Asia, which is still unknown, passing through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, then Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and endingwith Morocco (Algeria, Tunisia and Libya).
It is noteworthy that the Kuwaiti Designer Adiba Al Mahboub is the first Kuwaiti Designer to reach the world, with a bachelor degree in marketing, she entered the world of fashion design at the age of 19 years, participated in local, Arab and international fashion shows, more than sixteen fashion shows held in Lebanon and the Gulf, and Arab countries, Paris, Rome, Milan, New York, London, Germany, Spain and Morocco. She specialized in wedding and evening dresses and won many awards and shields, she owns fashion houses in Kuwait, Emirates and Sultanate of Oman. All her designs are imaginative, passionate about fashion, elegance and weaving.
