Former escort Gwyneth Montenegro looking for love after sex with 10,000 men

    08 december 2014

A FORMER escort who claims to have slept with over 10,000 men says she’s ready to settle down with Mr Right.

Gwyneth Montenegro, 36, from Melbourne, earned between $500 and $1000 an hour to have sex with the rich and powerful in a 12-year career she says was fuelled by drugs and alcohol.

A book about her exploits published earlier this year, 10,000 Men and Counting, led to 80 marriage proposals from smitten fans.

The interest inspired Ms Montenegro to give dating a chance, something she avoided during her time as an escort.

She told MailOnline: “There were some working in the industry who were dating people and married but for me personally I didn’t find it appropriate.

“I found it easier to avoid relationships during my time in the industry. The two just don’t mix. I tried it once, it was an utter disaster.”

Ms Montenegro, who gave up escorting three years ago, is now a commercial pilot and a self-styled expert in NLP. She says she thinks her past experiences have given her a good insight into men.

“Clients would confide in me about the good and bad parts of their relationship,” she said.

“I feel I have a deeper understanding of men than ever before.”
