    Celebrating Valentine’s Day with Kids

    14 february 2019

So today is Valentine’s Day, you’d love to head out the door for a calm and romantic dinner for 2 but for some last minute reason you can’t? This is the case with most parents, kids get clingy or sick, or we can’t find someone to babysit while we are away. But this is no reason to avoid celebrating this day full of love, so instead of cancelling plans, why not involve your kids in them today and over the weekend for an extended celebration?

Here are some ideas for a family oriented Valentine’s Day:

    1. Have a nice family lunch or dinner at a new restaurant, dress the kids up and make it feel like a special day.

    2. Go bowling together and share the fun, laughter and embarrassing moments!

    3. Spend the day at a playground that has games for adults such as a giant trampoline, that way all members of the family can enjoy their time.

    4. Head to the arcade, compete with bumper cars, basketball rounds and any other VR games.

    5. Plan a weekend staycation at a bed and breakfast or a lodge in the forest.

    6. Visit a remote location in Lebanon for a full day roadtrip.

    7. Watch a DVD of your kids’ choice, turn down the lights and share some popcorn for a cinema experience.

    8. Cook your favorite dish with your kids, then setup the table and enjoy the feast.

Valentine’s Day is about all kinds of love, and what is more important than the love of family? Make the most out of this day with your loved ones, you and your partner will definitely enjoy the time off from work and responsibility, and the kids will feel special celebrating this day with you!

    Happy Valentine’s Day!
