LG Electronics is launching Optimus G LTE, in Lebanon to be the only Smartphone in the market to support 4G services. The new model will be available for fans in April 2013, which is around the same time in which the 4G services will be activated for the first time in Lebanon.
Optimus G LTE operates using Jelly Beans - 4.1.2 operating system from Google, alongside the Qualcommnew 1.5 GB Pro quad-core processor, and a 2 GB memory. Its 4.7 inch display also comes with True HD-IPS+", thus ensuring exceptional image and color quality with a clarity ratio of 1280×768 MP. The model also supports "Zerogap Touch" technologies, which allow for extra sensitivity and ease of touch commands. The screen is thinner than that of previous models launched, which in turn allows objects and icons on it to appear closer to the user and notably clearer. This feature has significantly affected the look and feel of the mobile phone, making it weigh only 145 g while enjoying a thickness of 8.45 mm, alongside dimensions of 131.9×68.9×8.45 mm.
Amongst its flagship features is the "Screen Zooming" application which allows users to change the size of the text and icons on an email, music player, text messenger, and photo gallery. The phone also comes with the Dual Screen Dual Play feature which allows users to enjoy transferring their mobile content to the TV screen and to even enjoy different content on different parts of the screen as well. The mew handset also offers the QSlide feature, enabling users to use more than one application simultaneously while having them all displayed on the screen. Furthermore, the Quick Memo feature also enables users to instantly copy, web, video, text, or image content they wish to save on their phone. The same feature also allows the user to write notes, and add image additions to the content while also sharing these additions via text or instant chat messages with others.
Its 1.3 MP front camera and 13 MP back camera come with the "Smart Shutter" feature that adjusts the camera lenses to fit the desired shot alongside the "Say Cheese" feature that takes the best possible shots of humans.
The new model supports 4G, UMTS, HSDPA, EDGE, GPRS, and GSM networks, alongside WIFI and Bluetooth 4.0 technologies. Furthermore, it allows for NFC connectivity for close communication, and GPS technologies for determining locations. Its battery is also known for its strength, whereby it has a shellfire of 2100 mm per hour.
Not oblivious to the importance of elegant design, this technologically advanced phone also boasts the Crystal Reflection feature, which is patented by LG Electronics, and which makes the phone appear to be made of 3D diamond crystals.
On this occasion, Director of Mobiles at LG Levant, Mr. Yong Mo Kim said" The Optimus G LTE handset was released in line with Lebanon's introduction of the 4G network service into the market. This development is a realization of our vision to provide our clients with an innovative experience, an experience that echoes their love for innovation and technological advancement"
