Beiruting.com Interviewed the Global Vice President of P.F Chang's Restaurant Mr Roberto De Angelis.
1.As we know today is the opening of PF Chang's 2ndBranch here at Beirut city Center,What are your expectations on this day?
We are very happy to have the second branch here in Beirut,we did expect to be so welcome in this city ,and it was so fast that we had the 2nd branch opening ,so we expect the same kind of attitude that we experienced from the 1st location & we're very happy with the results so far.
2.Now you as the Vice president of PF Chang's head of Global Operation..How did you get here to Beirut,how u started your career?
Well we have amazing partners around the world,one of them is Bassam (that he lives here in Lebanon) so he approached us ,and we met several times,and we got to know each other ...it was a very good match & Bassam has been a great leader & we trust him,& we're always going to follow his speed development.
3.How did you come up with the idea of Opening PF Chang restaurant & expand it Globally?
The PF Chang's is a story that was first written 20 years ago in Costal Arizona, in after 200 restaurants and millions of customers we had the call to go through all the countries outside of USA ,to write the PF Chang's story in different languages ,this was a very organic process for us to keep in contact with some amazing companies.
4.Why did you choose Lebanon to be part of this huge success?
Well Bassam believes in Lebanon,and I personally love Lebanon,well we saw that Lebanese people they love to eat different kind of cuisines & gourmets & to go out so this was the reason that we chose Lebanon to be part of our story.
5.Is there any hope to expand more than 2 branches in Lebanon?
Yes,we see how the second one goes & we're going to pay attention to what Bassam is going to tell us in the future & all we have to do is to keep in contact with him .
