Located in a Lebanese old house in the historical Gemmayze neighborhood, La Parrilla, steak house and bar, has been delighting Lebanese gastronomes with the finest cuisine and the best meat in town since 2007. In the purpose of continuously offering their guests exceptional dining experiences, La Parrilla recently underwent a series of renovations to uplift both the interior decoration and the menu while preserving the authenticity and sophistication of their identity. The reveal of the restaurant's reinvented concept gathered a group of food lovers from the local media scene.
The groundbreaking and daring architecture was created by Ramy Boutros, one of the best architects in town known for his revolutionary, extravagant and eccentric style, and his fusion of paradoxical materials and techniques. Under the concept "Maison de Chasse Contemporaine", the décor was inspired by the woman behind La Parrilla who exudes a passion for food and hospitality. The restaurant boasts 5 themed halls characterized by a traditional architecture accentuated withgilded metal that reflects the beauty of the guests. Past and present come together to transmit an atmosphere of vintage and avant-gardism; an alternation of shadow and light.
"After 7 years of operation on one of Lebanon's busiest food and beverage scenes, it was high time for a complete and utter uplift of the restaurant, always in the purpose of serving our clients in the best possible way", said Mireille Hayek, La Parrilla owner."This renovation marks an important milestone in the journey of La Parrilla and I would like to thank each and every person who contributed to making our customer experience and exceptional one", she continued.
The revisited menu, already offering the best meat in town, now includes a large selection of gourmet dishes including pasta, risotto, ceviche, tartars and carpaccios. And because a lot of business deals have been made over a great meal, La Parrilla's business lunch provides the perfect platform for business men and women in the Beirut area to discuss business while indulging in a delectable meal. Taking into consideration the constraints of the business life, La Parrilla has introduced a 55 minute set menu especially tailored for quick business meetings.
La Parrilla's branding was designed by Stro'berry d-zines, one of Lebanon's finest branding boutique agencies, in the aim of seducing the country's gastronomes. Minimalistic and discrete, yet straight to the point, the branding on the tableware and menugives the restaurant a personal touch while enrichingits special and exceptional identity. In this approach lies the lure of La Parrilla's branding, making it the finest meeting place for food lovers.
