This year Nespresso is launching Tribute to Milano and Tribute to Palermo, two new Limited Edition ristrettos which are a tribute to the diversity and richness of Italian coffee culture, inspired by the two contrasting cities, Milano and Palermo.

"Following the launch of our Trieste and Napoli Limited Edition coffees, we wanted to continue our tribute to Italy by paying homage to the unique coffee cultures of Milan and Palermo. Tribute to Milano is our interpretation of the hustle and bustle of the elegant and vibrant city of Milan, where coffee is enjoyed at a fast pace whilst standing at the bar. In contrast, Tribute to Palermo is a powerful, intense and full bodied ristretto. We were inspired by the scents of the Sicilian outdoor markets, alive with colourful spices, so the cacao aromas and spicy peppery notes evoke an experience in amongst the locals at the market." commented Karsten Ranitzsch, Head of Coffee at Nespresso.

Nespresso is synonymous with quality and the new Limited Edition ristrettos, Tribute to Milano and Tribute to Palermo are made with the finest Arabicas and Robustas to deliver an extraordinary coffee experience.

Both Limited Edition ristrettos will appeal to intense coffee fans and can be enjoyed black but also blend perfectly with milk. Enjoy the full intensity of Tribute to Milano in a Latte Macchiato offering you a creamier milder taste with caramel aromas or savour Tribute to Palermo in a cappuccino without sacrificing any of this blend's full body and powerful character.

Coffee profile: A highly aromatic ristretto. The elegant result gives a delightful balance between fine fruity aromas and a sweet cereal notes.

Origins: Blend of Arabicas from South and Central America is reinforced with a Guatemalan Robusta.

Tribute to Palermo

Ristretto 25ml /  Intensity 11

Coffee profile: Intensely roasted to bring out aromas of cacao and spicy peppery notes. Full-bodied, this ristretto is enhanced by a silky texture for mouth-filling pleasure.

Origins: A powerful blend of East African Arabicas and Robustas.
