The Pinehouse is a unique wooden villa situated within nature in Aghmid Al Shouf, a 10 minute drive from Sawfar, and is ideal for families as well as couples to spend a relaxing weekend or even weekday. We at Beiruting were invited to enjoy the serenity of the surroundings this past weekend, and we were transported from the busy city life into nature and pines, where we could listen to the sound of the frogs and birds. The Pinehouse is a two bedroom villa, one with twin beds and the other with a king bed and a bathroom, and there are two extra beds and a sofa to fit a large family or group of friends. There is a dining space and a luxurious living room, and a fully equipped kitchen and bar. The garden is huge and contains a barbecue and a wooden pergola that is well lit during the night, in addition to a pool and terrace overlooking the mountains of Shouf. There is 24/7 electricity, internet and heating, and the property is well secured with cameras surrounding the land, so we felt safe at all times. We also parked our cars at the on-site parking available for guests, and had help from the janitor who was ready to assist us. There is also a TV and a receiver, as well as a music speaker with microphones for those who would like to sing karaoke. It was definitely a weekend to remember, and it helped us de-stress and refuel for the week ahead.
