Following a year of music, love, entertainment and success, 8e Art, Lebanon's leading entertainment company, held its annual concert, 'Dedications' on a midsummer night at Chateau Rweiss with the collaboration of Mr. Roger Bakhos (LA Production), Mr. Chady Akiki (CKA), Candid Image, Faqra Catering, Moodz and Welcome Agency. Bringing together over 1,500 friends and professionals from Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, Emirates and Algeria, the concert prove a staggering success with a variety of over 24 different shows presented by 8e Art.
Besides the endless number of corporate events, weddings, fashion shows and charity events 8e Art is involved in throughout the year, this annual concert is where all 8e Art artists expose the true essence of their expertise all in one night.'Dedications' was named and held following a strong dedication by 8e Art and all of its partners involved in its success.
Proving its rich diversity and styles, more than eight different groups performed at Dedications: Aleph Le Piano de l'Orient, Kanj, Labex, Raed, Dia Quintet, Kris B, Beuchet, O Alan, X Band featuring Xriss, 8 Rox featuring Jad, Screen Legends, Elias Rahbany, The Brain, Chady Bassar, Pierette Ramia, the soprano Corinne Metni, Eliane Saade and Carlos Azar. The performances, each with its fascinating lighting mood created by LA Production, took the concert to a whole new level.
Among the main bands that have been with the group for a long time but were presenting their new styles were Dia performing tango and the blues in a duet with Kristian Abou Anni, Kristian in Raï, and 8 Rox featuring Jade and Chady in an amazing performance of Sting's Desert Rose.On the other hand, 8e Art's new born bands were also big contributors to the show. Screen Legends took the audience's breath away when 8e Art artists accompanied the legendary Michael Jackson on screen in an innovative orchestration. X Band feat. Xriss presented the magic of soul and funk music while Pierette's oriental warm voice was accompanied by the lounge hank to exude unique oriental tunes in an electro tango style. In addition, Carlos Azar experimented with 8e Art and sang away a fresh new version of "Hibina" and last but not least, the exciting finale performance was The Brain who took everyone on an electrical dance journey.
Commenting on the occasion, Art Director of 8e Art, Aleph, said. "It is a miracle to have been able to present such a concert with high level and diversity, in one of the busiest seasons of the year.
