His Excellency the French Ambassador in Beirut, Mr. Hervé Magro, and his spouse honored Middle East Airlines – Air Liban during a ceremony held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the French Embassy headquarters, Pine Residence, Beirut.
The event was attended by the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Dr. Ali Hamieh, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Middle East Airlines, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makieh,along with several department heads, pilots, and cabin crew members.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Magro presented an honorary shield to MEA Chairman Mr. Mohamad El-Hout, inscribed with the following message: "The Embassy of France in Lebanon thanks all Middle East Airlines employees for their outstanding and courageous work in recent months, carried out under extremely difficult and perilous conditions."
