Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Walid Nassar, Minister of Tourism & His Excellency Mr. Ziad Al Makari, Minister of Information and Mrs. Zeina Frem, President of the Jounieh International Festival Committee, accompanied by media professionals, economic and tourism event representatives and civil society representatives, a press conference was held in the Salle Des Ambassadeurs at Casino Du Liban to launch the program for the 11th edition of the Jounieh International Festival for summer 2023, agreed as follows:
- On Wednesday evening, July 26, the festival welcomes International Lebanese singer Ms. Abeer Nehme. She is considered one of the strongest voices in the Arab world. Through enchanting tunes and graceful lyrics, the audience will return to the good old days, a moment that will warm their hearts.
- On Sunday evening, July 30, the festival presents a touching national soirée entitled "لبنان حكاية حب", directed by the great poet Nizar Francis and performed by singer Carla Chamoun, an evening of patriotism and emotion.
- Launch of a national photography competition for amateurs and professionals to showcase the beauty of Lebanon's nature and culture. Each participant will share his or her way of seeing things through an innovative professional photo that illustrates the touristic and cultural aspects of Lebanon. A jury of experts will select the best photos, and the public will be able to participate through voting on the competition website. The results of the competition will be announced during a special ceremony held at the Salle Des Ambassadeurs at the Casino du Liban on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
