This year's talent show took place on Saturday 4th of August at Nabeh El Safa, Shouf.
The talented 18 year old Lena Allam from Der El Amar, who sang "Rolling in the Deep" for Adele won the contest's first place. When she went on stage, she impressed everyone with her charming style and beautiful voice. All the people noticed that even though she sang for Adele, she still was trying to prove herself as Lena, the confident young artistic girl and not as Adele which made her everyone's first choice.
The second place went for Mohammad Afara, the illusionist from Saida. He kept the audience stunned throughout his whole performance. His skills and tricks were very professional.
Oussama Bawab and Salah Jaroudy, the two rappers who collaborated together and came up with an interesting song of their own, won the third position. It showed how hard they worked on making their performance really outstanding. They did not only focus on themselves on stage but also on making the people live each part of their song; it was an extremely wild interaction between this team and the audience.
Besides from the Winner of Beiruting.com Talent Show trophy, Lena in addition to the winners of the second and third positions won valuable watches from Claudia Watches.
What made this evening very special was the special appearance of the Star Academy star Michel Azzi who sang his latest hits including a song for the Lebanese Army and another for Nabeh El Safa.
Raja Ghanem, winner of the talent show of 2010 was also present to support the participants and to perform his new senstaional songs. His presence motivated every participant because two years ago, he was in their shoes; and he managed to become an amazing and famous star this year.
The event was hosted by Charbel Nakhle and Celine Khoury. Participants had to present their talents live on stage and the jury had to evaluate their performances. The jury was of four members: Elie
Abdallah (Businessman), Elsa Akiki (PR and coordinator at Beiruting.com), Rami Bezri (Professional Host), Miriam Atallah (Journalist at Beiruting.com).
This event started with a very inspirational and angelic performance. The lights, choice of music, fireworks, lanterns and other stage props were used to create a very pleasant ambiance.
Even though there was only one winner; however, all of the other participants have done an outstanding job. They all left their unique impression because of their promising talents.
No one can forget:
-The synchronized band Melody Maze who sang
Humanity.
-The multi-talented Bashir Sarieddine who sang
simultaneously while playing on the guitar and
on the harmonica.
-The cutest performance of the night, the eight
year old ballet dancer Stephanie Azar.
-The decent ten year old Layla Jawhary who sang
ya Laure Hobboki.
-The next Lebanese Eminem, Mohammad Farhat who
sang "Lose Yourself".
-Mia Maria Abi Ezz who managed to sing a song
that she invented and dance without any music!
-Chadi Koukech, the next promising romantic star.
Beiruting.com Talent Show 2012 was a huge success! An event that truly blew a lot of minds with its professionally organized and artistic schedule in the one of the most hospitable villages in Lebanon,
Nabeh El Safa!
