    Etihad Airways Receives Egyptian Minister Of Civil Aviation

    The Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, His Excellency Abdel Aziz Fadel, accompanied by Engineer Mohamed Sherif, President of Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, His Excellency Ihab Hamouda, Ambassador of Egypt to the UAE, and the Embassy's Second Secretary, Mr Mohamed Mostafa Kandil, paid a visit to Etihad Airways Headquarters today, as part of the Minister's current visit to the United Arab Emirates.

     

    Etihad Airways' Senior Vice President Government and Aeropolitical Affairs, Khaled Al Mehairbi, and the airline's Vice President Government and International Affairs Abdul Qader Hussein Ahmed, welcomed the Egyptian delegation. The meeting was followed by a tour of Etihad Airways headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

     

    Mr Al Mehairbi said: "We're delighted to welcome His Excellency Abdel Aziz Fadel, the Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation to Etihad Airways and to showcase the developments in our fast-growing airline.

     

    "We have had productive discussions around common issues and bilateral aviation relations."

     

    Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, started operating to the Egyptian capital in 2004 and now operates 21 flights per week linking the two Arab capitals.
