Alfa, the first Lebanese mobile operator managed by Orascom Telecom, announces the launch of the "Alfa2Alfa" exclusive prepaid plan, which provides big discounts of 50% on phone calls and 55% on SMS, in addition to an 80% discount on the Pay As You Go service. The Alfa2Alfa user will benefit from these reductions when communicating with another Alfa subscriber exclusively.
Alfa Chairman & CEO, Eng. Marwan Hayek said that this new offer "complements the various and exclusive offers launched by Alfa last year which aimed at meeting the various needs of subscribers." Hayek said that the importance of this new offer lies in that "it responds to the requirements of prepaid subscribers through the significant and encouraging reductions it offers," hoping that this offer will achieve its goal of "enhancing communication between our subscribers."
To subscribe to the Alfa2Alfa prepaid plan, a minimum monthly recharge of $30 (excluding VAT) must be available. Subscription to the plan is renewed every 30 days.
It is worth noting that the tariff when communicating between an Alfa2Alfa subscriber and another Alfa line holder is 18 cents per minute for phone calls, 4 cents per SMS, in addition to 10cents for each MB consumed through the Pay As You Go service. On the other hand, the tariff when communicating between an Alfa2Alfa subscriber and a non-Alfa line holder is 36 cents per minute for phone calls, and 9 cents per SMS.
